Overview

Known for its high level of expertise, personal attention and quality of care, Greenwich Hospital’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department and Center for Healthy Living offer integrated care from a variety of specialties, dedicated to the recovery of the whole person. Our Team consists of physiatrists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech language pathologists and exercise physiologists who care for patients with a wide array of medical conditions resulting from injury, disease, and surgery.

Our team works with patients and families—in and out of the hospital—to deliver the most clinically effective rehabilitation services

Inpatient Services

Physical Medicine services are provided in all patient care areas within Greenwich Hospital. Occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech language pathologists evaluate and treat patients based on their individual needs and goals during their hospital stay. Therapists collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, the patient and their family and caregivers to determine the appropriate plan of care and assist in optimizing the patient’s hospital stay and discharge.
