Greenwich Hospital’s Center for Behavioral and Nutritional Health offers scientifically and medically based services for those struggling with their health or seeking to prevent future health problems. The Center’s mission is the promotion of health and wellness, and the management and prevention of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Known for its high level of expertise, personal attention and quality of care, Greenwich Hospital’s Physical Medicine Department offers integrated care from a variety of specialties, dedicated to the recovery of the whole person. Our Team consists of physiatrists, exercise physiologists, occupational and physical therapists as well as speech language pathologists who care for patients with a wide array of medical conditions resulting from injury, disease and surgery.
For years patients had their first screening for colon cancer at age 50, but we now know earlier screenings can help save lives. The current recommendation by the American Cancer Society is for people with average risk of colorectal cancer to start regular screenings at age 45. Those with an increased risk may need to get screened even sooner.
