Yale New Haven Children's Hospital emergency medicine specialists provide care 24/7 at Greenwich Hospital offering the most advanced pediatric emergency services in the area. The recent renovation of the emergency department includes a dedicated space for pediatric emergency care. Children with less serious bumps, bruises, cuts and sprains are treated in one of our new "fast track" rooms. Further supporting the emergency department's child-friendly environment is a separate waiting room featuring a virtual fish tank, child-size furniture, age-appropriate books, TV programming and interactive media.

Greenwich Hospital’s Level III NICU specializes in the care of premature or sick newborn babies. Babies are monitored 24 hours a day by full-time neonatologists, nurse practitioners and specially trained nurses.
