For patients who decide to have weight-loss surgery, or have undergone surgery in the past, the Center for Behavioral and Nutritional Health works in collaboration with Greenwich Hospital’s bariatric surgery team to provide services and support.
We work with individuals who are required by their insurance carriers to participate in a medical weight-loss program before having bariatric surgery. Staff psychologists are available to perform the required pre-surgical psychological evaluation. We also work with patients struggling with post-surgical weight loss, body image, or other issues that might arise after bariatric surgery. Whether your surgery was performed at Greenwich Hospital or elsewhere, you can receive the support and guidance you need through the Center.
