1/22/13 — Yale New Haven's Smilow Cancer Hospital has opened a new campus at Greenwich Hospital. The opening of Smilow's Greenwich Campus will allow Yale Cancer Center specialists to work collaboratively with leading oncologists and specialists from Greenwich in the hospital's advanced and newly renovated facilities. Yale Cancer Center also has numerous clinical trials available, many of which will now be offered to patients receiving care at the Greenwich Hospital Campus.

"This is an innovative way to enhance the exceptional care already being provided by Greenwich Hospital physicians, and bring the latest clinical trials to patients in their local communities."

Greenwich Hospital currently offers a full array of cancer services, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, surgery, a dedicated breast center and support services. With the opening of the Smilow campus at Greenwich, Yale Cancer Center specialists in prostate and genitourinary, head and neck, gynecologic, and brain cancers will be available for patient appointments immediately. Additional specialists will follow later this year.
