The Greenwich Hospital Medical Library is comprised of three master’s prepared librarian with additional education in the medical sciences. The staff’s goal is to improve the medical care and research at the hospital through the provision of the most current resources and information, which supports patient care, clinical research, and education. Services include mediated health sciences literature searches on a wide variety of databases; tutorials (individual and group); provision of autoalerts on “hot topics” (RSS feeds); acquisition of materials not owned by the library; access to over 4000 electronic journals and 3500 electronic books; and photocopying service.
