The Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing at Greenwich Hospital delivers specialized care to speed the healing process and improve quality of life. This new outpatient facility offers two innovative services – specialized wound care and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) unit.
The Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing at Greenwich Hospital, delivers specialized care for chronic wounds caused by diabetes, poor circulation and other medical conditions. Patients are treated by a skilled team of experts that includes a full-time medical director and certified wound care nurses.
Using the latest evidence-based methods to treat stubborn wounds and infections that have resisted conventional treatments, this new outpatient facility offers two innovative services – specialized wound care and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) unit.
The state-of-the-art center features two single-person hyperbaric chambers designed for patient comfort.
The Center for Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center staff provides individualized attention to all patients. Patient support services include organizing tests, scheduling appointments, coordinating care with referring physicians and helping patients understand insurance benefits.
The Center works closely with referring physicians, extended care facilities, visiting nurses, family members and patients. Its location within the hospital gives patients immediate accessibility to other hospital or specialty services as well.
