Greenwich Hospital offers numerous support groups and education programs to help manage medical conditions, stress and more.

Addiction Recovery

Greenwich Hospital's Addiction Recovery Center (ARC) hosts meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-anon and LifeRing. Follow links for locations and times. Free. 

Better Breathers

Meets monthly l 11 am - noon 
For individuals with pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, lung cancer and more. Sponsored by Greenwich Hospital and the American Lung Association. Group may meet via Zoom or in the Mianus Conference Room at Greenwich Hospital. For information, call 203-863-4444. Free.

Chronic Pain Support Group

Wednesdays | 5 -6:30 pm | Zoom meetings 
New spring session begins. Joanne Mortimer, licensed mental health counselor, leads this group to learn and share skills for coping with persistent pain. Registration required. For information, call 203-863-2939. Free.

Chronic Physical Disabilities Support

Second and fourth Thursdays of each month l 1 - 2 pm | Zoom meetings
Facilitator: Alexandra Conway, PhD, psychologist
Join peers who have limited mobility due to chronic physical disabilities. Share resources, stories and perspectives. Preregistration required. To register, call 203-863-2939. Free.

Family Caregiver Support

First and third Thursday of each month | 1 - 2 pm | Zoom meetings 
The emotional struggle of caring for a loved one can affect physical and psychological health. This group focuses on self-care and stress management for primary caregivers of individuals with dementia, a chronic condition or terminal illness. A brief prescreening is required for registration. Mental Health Family Support Group 

Third Wednesday of every month l 6:45 - 8 pm
Noble Conference Center, Greenwich Hospital
This group, facilitated by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), is for families and individuals affected by severe mental illness. Drop-ins welcome. For information, visit www.namisouthwestct.org. Free. 

Multiple Sclerosis Support Group

Third Thursday of each month l 1 - 2 pm | Zoom meetings
