The Greenwich Hospital Medical Library is located on the first floor of the Watson Pavilion, across from Noble Auditorium.
All Library services are available free of charge to all hospital staff. Turnaround time varies depending on service. Patient care emergencies are handled immediately. There is a phone and fax available for staff use. The Library is open to the public, Monday through Friday. Appointments are preferred. A small consumer health collection is available for reference.
Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. After hours access is available with hospital badge.

The Library's collection includes books and journals covering all medical specialties, as well as nursing and administration. The book collection contains over 1500 volumes in print. The collection is cataloged according to the National Library of Medicine Classification System. Books may be borrowed by hospital staff only. A small consumer health collection is available for reference only. The Library keeps print journals for 1 year, plus the current year. Journals may not be borrowed.
The Library has over 3000 electronic books and over 4000 electronic journals. These are available to staff only.
The Greenwich Hospital Medical Library's mission is to improve the medical care and research at Greenwich Hospital through the provision of resources and information, which supports patient care, clinical research, and education.
